3 Pink Colour Palettes to Inspire Your Wedding Style

There’s no doubt about it – pink is one of the prettiest wedding colours out there and it’s incredibly versatile too. It works beautifully for any season, suits an array of venues and can be partnered with other shades for a truly gorgeous wedding style. With that in mind, here are three dreamy pink wedding colour schemes to make you swoon…

1. Blush, Gold, Ivory & Sage

The epitome of country garden perfection, this colour scheme is utterly elegant. Using pink as the main colour within the palette, we suggest working in subtle and ivory accents, along with a few golden details for an added dash of luxe. Let’s set the scene for you – we can see this delectable palette being used in a stunning country house wedding venue, with glorious gardens to wander around hand in hand, a light-filled Orangery or a Ballroom that’s just asking to be decorated with this colour combination.

Pillow-soft pink roses and handfuls of greenery – carefully tied at the stems with a silk ribbon. Your flowers (and in particular your bouquet) will effortlessly help to bring your wedding theme together. There are lots of other lovely ways to include florals in your styling and décor, from a ceremony archway to a delicate sprig of foliage on your place settings.

Incorporate elements of blush pink into your wedding day with a selection of pink bridesmaid dresses. Perhaps offer your team of ‘maids a selection of pink hues to choose from, then they can find a colour to suit their skin tone and personal preference. You could even gift your best girls with a piece of jewellery that is also a subtle nod towards your chosen colour scheme, such as a dainty silver bracelet with a lightly coloured pink gemstone.

Moving onto the sweet stuff – let’s talk about your wedding cake! This is where you and your wedding cake designer can get really creative. We love seeing our couples use gold lead to add a touch of modern-luxe to their cakes, as well as fabulous cake pops, exquisite biscuits, and even cupcakes with golden cases. Is anyone else beginning to feel rather peckish…?

2. Light Pink & Grey

And on that note, we’ll talk about our next colour scheme in the pink trio. A light pink and grey palette really is a winner in our eyes – you have the feminine element shining through with the pink hues, while adding a modern (and ever so slightly masculine) edge with the grey tones. It’s pretty yet powerful and we are so here for it!

If you are still seeking a colour palette with an extra hint of luxury, why not use silver accents throughout? With this delightful duo, grey works perfectly as the base colour, and can be enhanced and added to with lots of lovely blush pink details. As always, the florals will do a lot of the talking, but tapered candles, pink charger plates and pale pink ‘On the Day’ stationery across your wedding tables really help to tie it in together. We’ve also got our eye on an epic pink floral and elegant grey backdrop – you could use it for your ceremony or just for jaw-dropping photographs!

3. Dusky Rose & Mauve

This pretty pairing is made for couples who are true romantics at heart. It’s soft and feminine yet stands out from the crowd – the perfect way to make a style statement. Your bridesmaids can choose from an array of gowns in dusky rose and mauve hues, which is particularly helpful if you have decided to go down the ‘mix and match’ route with their dresses. You could pop on a pair of dusky pink heels that peep out from under your gown or you could don a gorgeous flower crown incorporating your colour palette. Jewellery-wise, almost any metallic works hand in hand with this colour scheme – opt for gold tones if you want something warmer-toned or go for silver if you want to sparkle your way down the aisle.

Offer your guests a glimpse of what’s to come with elegant mauve Save the Date card and invitations – tie them with a dusky rose ribbon for something extra special. For a day that is completely coordinated, we recommend to our couples to continue using the same stationery design and theme throughout their special day – including the Order of Service, table plan, menu cards, place settings and more.
